World of Fishes was established in 1984 and has now grown to be one of the leading specialist aquatic retailers in the south. In November 2004 Paul Curtis and Daryl Farmer purchased the shop from Chris Williams who after 20 successful years decided it was time to retire. Paul and Daryl strive to maintain the good reputation and high standards World of Fishes has always had and have enjoyed adding their personal touch over the last 3 years.

We are located on the main A22 (Eastbourne Road) on the Surrey side of East Grinstead, West Sussex. Although we look like a small shop from the road, we hope that this website will give more of an indication of what’s inside this deceptive shop and give customers who have yet to visit us the incentive to do so.

We pride ourselves on the quality of our livestock and you can always be sure to find our shop and all our aquariums and their inhabitants in the best possible condition.

Another aspect of our shop, which is taken very seriously, is our aftersales support and back-up. We also offer an installation and maintenance service to both private and commercial customers. All of our staff are very happy to offer advice as we want all of our customers to be successful in the hobby and enjoy fishkeeping as much as we do.
