I would like to congratulate Paul and Daryl on their superb customer service.
I am a new customer to World or Fishes. I must say that on each visit, Paul and Daryl have taken the time to speak at length about prospective fish purchases I've made. On each occasion the shop has been busy, but, they say they'll be with you and in turn they serve you. They've offered information regarding their water (marine treatments) to ensure that no problems occur when the fish are eventually taken home.
I'm most pleased with a fish that they recently obtained on order for me. It took a month or so, but, they rang as promised when the fish came into stock. I was cautious about getting a fish on order, especially being a new customer. But, when I arrived to collect my fish I was really pleased to see that what I'd consider to be the best specimen had been reserved for me without obligation.
They have also helped my sons and given them honest appraisals of tropical fish while I've been in the marine section.
They are equally as helpful over the phone.
It's not the largest shop, but, I found there to be a good choice of fish available. The marine tanks weren't filled with the normal abundance of gobies and damsels. Instead I found a nice choice of angels, tangs and wrasse. Parking is really easy too. Finally, I've seen a previous tongue in cheek comment about prices. For the marine fish, I would suggest that fish such as dwarf angels and tangs are very competitive against shops in my local area. For me this offsets the cost of petrol travelling down the A217 and M23. I'd go to the shop regardless because of their quality of stock and customer service.

I have been using World of Fishes since they opened in 1984 , the staff at WOF are all friendly and spend time to chat , in my opinion the shop is the best in the south growing from strength to strength since Daryl and Paul took over , some of their items may be higher priced than some shops but in my opinion the extra prices are worth it for all the advice and after care the shop gives they have a great selection of livestock where it comes to fish = (tropical's/marines and coldwater) the equipment they tend to keep on shelves is in my opinion for the beginners , but they have a great selection of food and additives ;-) , BUT they cater for every one if there is something you want and they haven't got it they will do there upmost to get what you are after , they have never failed me yet ;-) I will continue to use and support World of fishes as long as i have a tank
